Our Vision
Empower Her Environmental Wellness was founded in 2023. Our vision is to create a just and equitable future for women of color and underserved women and families in West Virginia who face the cumulative impacts of poor air and water quality. We are committed to raising awareness about the disproportionate burden they bear, advocating for environmental justice, and demanding policy changes that prioritize their health and well-being. Through community engagement, education, and collaboration, we aim to empower women of color to reclaim their right to clean air and water, ensuring a safe and sustainable environment for generations to come.
